A home health agency provides skilled, intermittent nursing and therapy under a physician's plan of care, the service Medicare covers for homebound patients. It is not the same as non-medical home care, which Kentucky licenses separately as personal services agencies (see the home care agency roster).
How do I choose between Louisville home health agencies?

Several license holders operate under hospital-system or national brands, so the licensee name on the roster may differ from the name on the agency's materials. For hospice, ask about after-hours response, inpatient options and bereavement support; a patient may change hospice providers at any time.
Does Medicare pay for these Louisville providers?
