How does Louisville Senior Advisor source its facts?
Every regulatory statement cites the Kentucky Revised Statutes, Kentucky Administrative Regulations or the Cabinet for Health and Family Services page it comes from; cost figures come from the CareScout 2025 Cost of Care Survey's Kentucky release; population figures come from Census Bureau Vintage 2025 estimates; VA figures come from VA rate tables.

What will Louisville Senior Advisor not publish?
We do not publish figures we cannot trace to a primary source, facility details that are not in OIG's or CMS's bulk data, reviews, testimonials, or ratings of our own.
- No Louisville-specific cost median: CareScout publishes state and national medians only.
- No memory care median: CareScout does not survey memory care anywhere.
- No assisted living ratings: neither Kentucky nor CMS rates assisted living, and we will not invent a score.
- No facility pages built from marketing copy: detail pages exist only where CMS publishes structured data.
How often is the directory updated?
The directory is regenerated on every site build from OIG's monthly facility directories (currently the October 2026 edition) and CMS's Provider Information dataset (data as of October 1, 2026); OIG reposts its files at the start of each month.
Each listing page shows its source and data date. Page dates in our sitemap change only when a page's content actually changes.
How does Louisville Senior Advisor handle CMS star ratings?
We show CMS's overall, health inspection, staffing and quality-measure ratings exactly as CMS publishes them, labelled as CMS ratings with the data date, and only for nursing homes CMS certifies; we never average, adjust or extend them to other facility types.
Comparisons on our facility pages, such as whether a home's staffing hours are above the local median, are simple arithmetic on CMS's own published figures for Louisville-area nursing homes, and each one states the median it is compared against.
How do I request a correction?
Email advisors@louisvillesenioradvisor.com with the page and the correction; operators may request corrections to how their license data is displayed, but the underlying data comes from OIG and CMS, so changes to it must be made with those agencies.
We correct errors promptly and note material corrections on the page. Reader corrections about Kentucky rules or benefit amounts are checked against the statute, regulation or agency page before we change anything.
